Keep Sevier Beautiful is an award-winning nonprofit dedicated to uniting people in preserving the natural beauty of our county, while fostering economic growth, strengthening communities, and safeguarding the gateway to the Smoky Mountains.”
Our Goal
Our goal is to preserve and enhance the beauty of Sevier County while enriching the quality of life for its residents through community-driven projects. Keep Sevier Beautiful supports these efforts with initiatives such as countywide litter cleanups, recycling events, tree plantings, community gardens, household hazardous waste collection, educational programs on litter prevention and recycling, as well as playground improvements and beautification projects.
Our Concept
Our concept is simple: when people are taught how to care for their environment, they will. By encouraging generational thinking, we strive to instill lifelong habits that promote stewardship and responsibility. We believe lasting change comes from transforming behaviors to heal and protect the environment for generations to come. As an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and Keep Tennessee Beautiful, we focus on four core areas—education, litter prevention, waste reduction and recycling, and beautification, by educating and engaging our community.
What's with the logo?
KSB’s logo features the Trillium flower, a plant native to the Smoky Mountains. Each bloom symbolizes one of the areas KSB serves…Sevier County, Pittman Center, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. The three petals of the Trillium represent the essential partnership between businesses, citizens, and government, working together to promote beautification, community greening, environmental stewardship, and natural resource conservation.
