KEEP SEVIER BEAUTIFUL EDUCATION
Keep Sevier Beautiful works in conjunction with the
Sevier County School System in several different areas to impact the youth of Sevier County.
Kindergarten: Introduction to Waste in Place – Students will explore ways to reduce and reuse materials, with a hands-on STEM/craft activity.
2nd Grade Reading Program: Engage with an environmentally-themed book, followed by a creative craft project that reinforces key ideas.
4th Grade Stormwater Program: An interactive lesson on stormwater management, featuring fun, educational interactions with our fish mascots, Fred and Ted.
6th Grade: Waste in Place – This lesson dives deeper into waste generation in Sevier County, teaching students how to reduce, reuse, and upcycle materials as mindful consumers.
Boys and Girls Club/Library After-School Programming: Through engaging lessons and crafts, students will learn how to repurpose materials to create artwork while also contributing to reducing landfill waste.Working together we can all make a real difference.
