Keep Sevier Beautiful works in conjunction with the Sevier County School System in several different areas to impact the youth of Sevier County.

    • Learn GREEN, Live GREEN – Following TCAP, KSB visits every 2nd grade classroom for a 30 minute environmental lesson. Giving a hardcover book to each second Grade classroom and multiple “environmental gifts” to each student.
    • Fred & Ted – focuses on storm water through a fun adventure of two fish traveling downstream.  One enjoys a clean TN stream while the other encounters pollutants along the way.  A fun, interactive class taught at the Eugene Huskey Environmental Center to all fourth grade students.
    • Garbage Pizza – focuses on the waste stream and waste disposal options for Sevier County Vs. the United States through an interactive class where students create four different garbage pizzas.  Class is taught at the Eugene Huskey Environmental Center to all sixth grade students.  Class discusses recycling options and benefits of recycling.

Keep Sevier Beautiful also offers recycling education to the general public through many speaking engagements, displays and booths to distribute information on recycling locally and the benefits of recycling locally and nationally.

If you would like KSB to come speak to your organization, class, etc. please contact us at (865) 774-6677 and we will do our best to accommodate to your schedule.

Working together we can all make a real difference.
