ABOUT KSB

Keep Sevier Beautiful is more than an organization, we are a movement of neighbors, volunteers, and community partners working together to protect the place we call home.

As an award-winning nonprofit, we are dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of Sevier County while strengthening our communities, supporting a healthy local economy, and safeguarding the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains.

OUR GOAL

Our mission is simple: to create a cleaner, greener, more beautiful Sevier County for today and for generations to come.

We improve quality of life across our community through hands-on, community-driven projects such as:
•Countywide litter cleanups
•Recycling and waste reduction events
•Tree plantings and community greening
•Community gardens
•Household hazardous waste collections
•Environmental education and outreach
•Beautification projects

Each effort, big or small, helps protect the place we all share.

OUR APPROACH

We believe real change begins with awareness and action. When people learn how to care for their environment, they do. By encouraging generational thinking, we work to inspire lifelong habits of stewardship, responsibility, and pride in our community. Lasting impact comes from transforming behaviors and empowering people to take part in healing and protecting our environment.

As an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and Keep Tennessee Beautiful, our work is guided by four core focus areas: EducationLitter PreventionBeautificationWaste Reduction & Recycling

THE MEANING BEHIND OUR LOGO

The Trillium flower in our logo is a symbol of the Smoky Mountains and the natural beauty that makes Sevier County so special.

Each bloom represents the communities we proudly serve: Sevier County, Pittman Center, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville.

The Trillium’s three petals reflect the partnership at the heart of our mission, citizens, businesses, and government working together to promote beautification, environmental stewardship, and the conservation of our natural resources.
