Keep Sevier Beautiful offers engaging, hands-on environmental education programs designed to inspire stewardship, reduce waste, and connect people of all ages to the place they call home. Our lessons are interactive, place-based, and adaptable, covering topics such as litter prevention, watersheds, soil health, gardening, sustainability, and responsible land care. Programs can be tailored for classrooms, camps, libraries, community events, youth groups, or adult education. In addition to our existing lesson offerings, we are happy to create custom lessons to meet specific event goals, curriculum standards, age groups, or community needs—ensuring every program is meaningful, relevant, and impactful for Sevier County and YOU.

Litter Prevention & Cleanup
Programs focused on stopping litter before it starts and empowering hands-on action.

  • One Piece at a Time – Intro to litter, why it matters, and how kids can help (K–5)
  • Cleanup + Trashercize – Cleanup + movement-based learning (all ages)
  • Community & School Cleanups – Guided cleanups with education and reflection
Waste Reduction & Sustainable Living
Programs that teach reducing waste at the source through everyday choices.

  • The REAL 4 R’s – Reduce, Reuse, Refuse, Recycle (all ages)
  • Waste in Place – Where Sevier County trash goes + composting + upcycling (middle school)
  • Choose to Act Green! – Everyday green swaps (quick lesson or full program)
  • Waste Less at Home – Adult & family-focused workshops and expo booths
Watersheds, Water & Runoff
Understanding how land, water, and pollution are connected.

  • What Is a Watershed? – Hands-on watershed modeling (elementary–middle)
  • Fred & Ted: Stormwater Stories – How litter travels into streams through runoff (upper elementary) (Standards-aligned; adaptable for classrooms or outdoor learning)
Gardening, Food & Land Stewardship
