KSB CELEBRATES AMERICA

America Turns 250 in 2026 and we are celebrating in a BIG way! Keep Sevier Beautiful is proud to launch “50 for 250” — our goal to remove 50,000 pounds of litter in honor of America’s 250th Birthday on July 4!

As part of Keep America Beautiful’s nationwide Greatest American Cleanup, businesses, organizations, and citizens across the country are working together to remove 25 billion pieces of litter and beautify 25,000 communities!

Sevier County is ready to do its part.

County officials and KSB staff gathered together in February for a special ceremony of commitment. Mayor Larry Waters and KSB Executive Director Lisa Bryant signed the Greatest American Cleanup Pledge to help create a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful community.

"I've always said the environment is our business. We have about 21 million visitors come through this county every year, and we want it to be as clean and pristine as possible, not just for our visitors, but also for our citizens," Mayor Waters expressed.

"The Keep Sevier Beautiful folks, the Board and Executive Director, do a great job all year long of having events to clean up various parts of our community, and if it wasn't for them, I'm not sure what we'd look like. We look a lot better in Sevier County because of their efforts."

We appreciate the County's support as we launch our cleanup campaign!
